Snowway Service Agreement
1: Services Provided
Snowway Agrees to provide the following services, unless agreed upon otherwise:
- Shoveling/Blowing snow from the driveway, walkway, city sidewalk, and bin area.
- Application of de-icer where necessary.
Service Limitations:
- Snow will only be cleared if accumulation exceeds 1 cm. A light dusting does not qualify for service.
- If the client’s car is in the driveway, Snowway will clean around it and use a snow blower underneath where possible, but is not responsible for snow left directly on or under the vehicle.
- Snowway will provide services regardless of weather conditions, except when snow accumulation is less than 1 cm.
2: Service Schedule
- Aligning to city bylaws, snow is always cleared within 24 hours after the snowfall ends.
- During continuous (multi-day) snow events, services will be rendered once daily, typically in the afternoon.
3: Liability
- Snowway is not responsible for slip-and-fall accidents after service is completed.
- Accidental property damage caused by Snowway’s equipment or personnel will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Snowway will:
- Notify the client immediately upon discovery of damage.
- Investigate the claim and, if necessary, compensate for the repair or replacement of the damaged item, provided the damage is directly attributable to Snowway’s negligence.
4:Billing
- Services are Billed Monthly or Seasonally
- Monthly fees remain fixed, irrespective of the number of snowfalls within the billing period.
- 5 Days before each payment, the client will be asked if they want to continue or cancel services.
